With the rapid development of new energy technology in recent years, the installed capacity of new energy power generation continues to grow. The grid performance of new energy grid connected units has an increasingly significant impact on the safety and stability of power grid operation. Therefore, grid connection testing of new energy power stations is becoming increasingly important.
The mobile new energy power station testing platform (hereinafter referred to as the "platform") is a high-precision and multifunctional testing platform developed by our company for grid connection testing of new energy power stations. When used, the platform is connected in series between the collection line and the tested converter, and can adapt to various voltage levels such as 6kV, 10kV, 35kV, etc. It has testing functions such as operational adaptability and fault ride through, and can complete grid connection testing of grid connected and grid structured new energy power stations, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the power system.

The client is the owner of an energy storage power station located in Kabal Tuek, Cambodia. The power station mainly includes complementary energy sources such as photovoltaics and energy storage, consisting of 7 photovoltaic arrays and 3 grid type energy storage sub arrays. The total installed capacity is 60MW (photovoltaic)+20MW (energy storage), and the access voltage level is 22kV.
The owner conducted grid connected tests on the power control, inertia response, primary frequency regulation, fault ride through, operational adaptability, voltage phase tolerance, low-frequency oscillation suppression, overload capacity, and other performance indicators of the photovoltaic power generation technology in the power station using our mobile new energy power station testing platform in January 2025.
